When being combined with these feeders, BAADER herring filleting machines are made automatic processing plants. The BAADER 483 is laid out for fish from 17 to 32 cmand, the BAADER 484, for fish from 20 to 40 cm.
From a storage bin filled with water, the fish are conveyed via the S-shaped steep belt conveyor, wich is fitted with carriers adjustable to the different fish sizes, and transfered carefully and uniformly to four rocking channels. In these channels, the fish are aligned and fed to the individual trays via a timing station wich operates synchronouslyto the tray chain. An additional alignament is made with regard to the belly and back position for the subsequent filleting process.
The complete plant is reliable to such an extent that one person only is required for surveyance and occasional corections. The capacity of the steep belt conveyor is continuously variable for precise adaption to the processing machine. The U-shaped arrangement in relation to the processing machine is space saving. The storage bins with a capacity of 150 kg of raw products are designed for continuous feeding. Containers of 400 kg are available for batch feeding.
